Oh boy, what a Christmas we had! It was filled with lots of antibiotics and precious memories. So all of us managed to get sick again but Noah was the one that got it the worst. He got RSV and was a very sick little guy. We thought he might get admitted into the hospital for a while but luckily our little "chunk" made it through. His RSV was further complicated with his first ear infection which he shared with his brother Casey. Needless to say it was a very scary few days for us and we even had to postpone our trip to San Antonio for a day. In the meantime Jason and I both got bad colds again and I even ended up with a second round of pink eye! We were a mess!!!!
Santa was very nice to Casey this year. He asked for a "big, huge firetruck and a little guitar." Well Santa came through big time and here is our little rockstar in the making. Our favorite Casey story came when we were opening gifts at Nana and Grandad's. They got him an adorable navy blue peacoat. I told him to try it on and he looked absolutely precious...well aside from the horrified look on his face. We all decided he looked like the kid in A Christmas Story that was forced to wear the pink bunny outfit. It was priceless and we all got a good laugh.
Noah just mainly enjoyed playing with wrapping paper and showing us his favorite new "toy," his tongue. He scored some new clothes and toys and enjoyed them in between breathing treatments. Probably could have had a better first Christmas but he smiled and was a trooper nonetheless.
We had a great Christmas and are very thankful for all of the wonderful family and friends we are surrounded with. We are looking forward to a great 2009.
Happy New Year Everyone!
